ZTE unveils Blade A2: details emerge

The smartphone will be available in gold, silver and grey colour options.

ZTE has unveiled its latest flagship Blade A2, priced not more than $100 (approximately Rs6,600).The smartphone is meant for those who are looking for a pocket friendly handset.

Blade A2 sports a metallic body, a 5-inch 2.5D screen with a resolution of 720x 1280 pixels has MediaTek MTK6750 SoC coupled with an octa-core 1.5GHz COU and a Mali-T860 MP2 520MHz GPU and runs Android Lollipop 5.1 with Mifavor 3.2 UI on top.

In terms of storage, the smartphone featutres 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The device measures 143.8 × 70.2 × 7.9mm in dimensions, weighs 135g and sport a 2500mAh battery. On the camera front, Blade A2 features a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and PDA features, while the front camera sports 5MP sensor.

Blade A2 also features fingerprint sensor and will be available in gold, silver and grey colour options.

Currently, the device is listed on a Chinese website Jb.com to go on sale starting June 15. The company hasn’t said anything on its availability in the Indian market.
