The new variant is already available for pre-orders until April 17 and is listed only in Midnight Black colour.

Samsung recently launched its most anticipated smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ at an event in New York. And now there are reports that the company is gearing up to launch a 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM variant of the Galaxy S8+. Unfortunately the version will only be available for the South Korean and Chinese market.

The new variant is already available for pre-orders until April 17 and is listed only in Midnight Black colour. The new variant crosses the $1,000 mark. It is available at Samsung’s online store and retail locations of various partners in the country.

The company is also offering a free DeX Station priced at Rs $150 with pre-orders. Customers would also get a 50 per cent of the screen replacement fee within an year after the purchase date.

Apart from the increased RAM capacity and the internal storage, the new variant has the same specifications as the previously announced model. To recall, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ runs the zippy Snapdragon 835 and boasts a 12MP single-lens camera on the rear panel, while there is an 8MP front facing snapper alongside the iris scanner.
