Surprise as new iPhone revealed in stunning leak

If you have not yet purchased the new iPhone 11; hold on as this leak may want you to hold on.

The Apple iPhone 11 series of handsets have been selling extremely well; much to most analysts’ surprise. In fact, Apple has even increased the iPhone 11 production over the unexpectedly high demand. However, if you are planning on purchasing the new iPhone; here is a friendly warning for you as a surprise new iPhone has suddenly leaked.

As per a new research note that’s obtained by MacRumors, reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has let it be known that Apple will soon release the long-awaited successor to the iPhone SE. Interesting, it won’t have toned-down internals but will come with hardware that’s found in the iPhone 11.

To put this into context, the iPhone SE 2 will come loaded Apple’s A13 Bionic chipset, the latest in hardware that’s found in the current iPhone 11. It will also come with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM, the same that are featured in the iPhone 11. Kuo claims that this iPhone SE 2 will be the best upgrade choice for millions of users and it is believed that Apple will ship 40 million units of the handset next year. To put this into context, Gartner analysts estimated that the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max shipped 48 million units combined between October 2019 and June 2019.

The only downside here is that the iPhone SE 2 will not come with a similar form-factor as the original iPhone SE. Instead, it is supposed to look like the iPhone 8 when announced. A related report by Forbes states, “The flipside is the iPhone 8 remains far more compact than the vast majority of smartphones these days and it will have Touch ID, which is still faster than Face ID and preferred by some.”

With the iPhone SE 2 looking similar to the iPhone 8, we also get a fair idea as to how Apple will price the handset. The iPhone 8 when launched was for about Rs 60,000; which is a pretty steep amount. The iPhone 11, on the other hand, is priced at RS 64,900. So, in order for the iPhone SE 2 to be competitively priced, they may sell it for under Rs 50K in India.

So while the iPhone 11 is a fantastic choice, both buyers on a budget and buyers who want cutting edge technology now have a lot to consider come 2020.
