The 360-degree camera allows users to take images in all directions with a single shot.

Smartphone makers are continuously striving to bring innovative features to their devices. ProTruly is one such company that came up with an unconventional feature for its Darling smartphone, making it the first smartphone to incorporatea 360-degree camera.

The 360-degree camera allows users to take images in all directions with a single shot. Users can also share these pictures on social media platforms that support 360-degree images. The camera however protrudes on both sides making it uncomfortable for users to fit it in their pockets.

According to Mashable, the Darling smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by a MediaTek processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. It is equipped with a 13MP 360-degree camera and runs of Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It also features a fingerprint sensor for added security.

The smartphones comes in two different variants, the standard model has plastic camera build, while the high-end variant packs leather, a strip of gold and four embedded diamonds.

The device was showcased last year and it made appearance at MWC 2017 event. ChinaDaily claims that the standard version would cost $600 while the higher variant is priced at $1,300. Mashable on the other hand reports that the smartphone will sell at $500 and $800 and will be available only for China.
