Budget iPhone's leaked colours excite fans before launch

While we are just a few days away from the official launch, Slashleaks have posted alleged three new colours of the cheaper iPhone.

Apple is going to uncover the intensely hyped trio of iPhones at its event on September 12. The array of models will consist of two OLED variants — a 5.8-inch and a 6.5-inch largest iPhone and the third will be the LCD display-bearing budget model. While we are just a few days away from the official launch, Slashleaks have posted alleged three new colours of the cheaper iPhone.

While the traditional white colour has been carried forward, the red and blue shades look quite trendy and cool. However, on Slashleaks twitter handle, the colours attracted mixed reactions. Although the rear body is supposed to be metal-type, the quality doesn’t look top-notch which is acceptable owing to the fact that this will be the budget handset from Apple.

Unlike the higher-spec models, the 6.1-inch iPhone will be boasting of a single camera setup at the rear. On the front, it will mimic the ongoing iPhone X’s notch display which is also expected to get Face ID and gesture control support.

The lower priced Apple device is highly likely to be called as iPhone XC and it will come with a 3GB RAM and options of 64GB and 256GB internal memory. The price has been speculated to be around $749 (approx Rs 54,000).

Moreover, the premium versions have been reportedly christened as iPhone XS (5.8-inch) and iPhone XS Max (6.5-inch). The latter will be the largest iPhone Apple has ever made. The iPhone XS will be priced starting at $899 (approx Rs 64,500) while the larger variant is expected to get the heftiest price tag of $999 (Rs 71,700).
