OnePlus CEO dismisses rumours about the OnePlus Mini existence
OnePlus was caught in the rumour mill, after a device dubbed as OnePlus 3 Mini was benchmarked on GFXBench. The benchmark revealed few specs of the smartphone, including a 4.6 inch display with Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 6GB RAM. It featured a fingerprint sensor with 16MP rear and an 8MP front facing camera backed by 64GB of internal storage.
As it turns out, that the rumours weren’t true. OnePlus CEO Carl Pei took to his Twitter account to dismiss all rumours about the OnePlus Mini existence.
OnePlus has stated earlier, that the company will only focus on its premium line of products. Recently the company also discontinued its OnePlus X smartphone.
To recall, OnePlus launched its powerful flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone with the zippy dual-core 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 processor with a whopping 6GB RAM. It sports a 5.5 inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The smartphone received an overwhelming response in European countries; the company had to halt its sales until they can replenish the stock.
