Celebrating 10 years of Galaxy innovation, Samsung, today unveiled its stunning new line of premium smartphones – Galaxy S10 in India. Galaxy S10 is designed for consumers who want a premium smartphone that allows for an immersive, personal and intelligent experience. Galaxy S10 empowers consumers with its ground-breaking innovations in display, camera, security and performance to meet their distinct lifestyle needs.

Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will be available across select retail stores and online platforms beginning March 8, 2019.

With the launch of Galaxy S10, Samsung, India’s biggest and most trusted smartphone brand is leveraging a decade of leadership in flagships to usher in a new era of smartphone technology.  Galaxy S smartphones come with many next-generation features such as Infinity-O Display, versatile Pro-Grade camera, Wireless PowerShare and in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner (only on Galaxy S10+/S10) and set the stage for the dawn of a new mobile era.

Moving beyond the limits to inspire a new passion for smartphones amongst consumers, Galaxy S10 is a triumph of innovation. Galaxy S10 is the ultimate representation of innovation in design, performance, and camera. With Galaxy S10+, Samsung has unleashed breakthrough technologies to realize this vision of the future smartphone. Galaxy S10e is built for those who want the power of these new smartphones in a compact package.

Galaxy S10 builds on Samsung’s heritage of creating stunning designs and functional smartphones. Available in 5.8-inch Galaxy S10e, 6.1-inch Galaxy S10 and 6.4-inch Galaxy S10+, the smartphones feature the world’s first Dynamic AMOLED display.

Galaxy S10 supports HDR10+ content; it delivers vivid digital content and dynamic tone mapping, allowing consumers to see a wider range of colour for a brilliant, realistic picture. Users can enjoy the world’s most accurate colours on a mobile device, even in harsh sunlight. Even without a filter, Galaxy S10 reduces blue light through its TÜV Rheinland-certified Eye Comfort display which helps protect your eyes without compromising picture quality. Galaxy S10’s Dynamic AMOLED display is also VDE-certified for vibrant bright colours and extraordinary contrast ratio, for even deeper blacks and brighter whites.

By introducing a portfolio of seamless mobile experiences that are unlocked with the new Galaxy S10e, S10 and Galaxy S10+, Samsung is pushing beyond the limits of today’s technology to create meaningful innovation. Galaxy S10’s unique Infinity-O Display packs an array of sensors and camera technology into a hole-in display, allowing consumers to maximize their screen real estate without any distractions.

Galaxy S10’s display isn’t the only piece of incredible tech built into the front of your smartphone. Embedded directly beneath the screen is the world’s first in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner that reads the 3D contours of a physical thumbprint, for improved anti-spoofing, allowing the phone to be unlocked securely and intuitively.

Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ smartphones are the world’s first products to receive certification from the FIDO Alliance’s new Biometric Component Certification Program.

Samsung Galaxy S10 series redefines the photography experience on a smartphone. Building on Samsung’s camera leadership of Dual Pixel and Dual Aperture firsts, Galaxy S10 introduces Penta Pro-Grade Camera and advanced intelligence that makes it easy to take epic shots and videos.

Galaxy S10 and S10+ feature a triple camera module design. The main camera module has a 12 MP sensor and a dual-aperture lens that intelligently varies between an f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture. The secondary camera is a 12 MP 2x telephoto lens, with an f/2.4 lens. The devices come with an ultra-wide-angle 16 MP lens and a 123-degree Field of View (FoV), allowing users not only see wider but also closer with a naked eye.

For consumers who create videos, Galaxy S10 offers Super Steady recording with digital stabilization technology. Whether you’re dancing in the middle of an amazing concert or trying to record every detail of a bumpy bike ride, Super Steady allows users to capture the moment. S10’s front camera supports UHD video so you can capture high-quality content and record 4K UHD Selfie videos and in an industry first, the rear camera gives you the flexibility to record video in HDR10+.

With the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) available on the chipset, users can get pro-grade shots without having to manually select any advanced camera settings. Scene Optimizer can automatically recognize and more accurately process additional scenes because of the NPU. And with AI Photo Assist, Galaxy S10 offers automatic composition recommendations for users to frame their photos better than ever.

Galaxy S10 will directly launch Instagram through its camera app, turning the device into one of the best ways to experience Instagram. Galaxy S10’s camera app includes an Instagram Mode button and with a simple click, you can record and upload full-screen videos directly to Instagram – all without opening the app.

The Galaxy S10 will come with a new and improved version of Bixby Vision. This is a ‘Make for India’ innovation for Indian consumers developed by the Samsung R&D Institute, Bengaluru.

Through a partnership with online fashion retailer Myntra, Bixby Vision on the Galaxy S10 will provide a new ‘Try and Buy’ feature that will make shopping more convenient than ever before.

Bixby Vision will also allow S10 users to find nearby restaurants by simply pointing their cameras at a street or a building. Samsung has partnered with Magicpin to provide users with live information on nearest local restaurants and points of interest right from their camera.

Galaxy S10 is built with premium hardware and machine-learning-based software. From brand new power-sharing capabilities to AI-powered performance enhancement and Intelligent Wi-Fi, to the ultimate gaming experience, Galaxy S10 is Samsung’s most intelligent device available in the market.

With the Galaxy S10+, you can get up to 12GB of RAM and one terabyte of base storage. From expansive storage to advanced speeds, Galaxy S10 is like having a supercomputer in your pocket. Its new processor enables up to 29% faster CPU speeds and 37% faster GPU speeds than the Galaxy S9. That means the S10 is powerful enough for some incredible experiences.

Engineered to provide the best gaming experience, Dolby Atmos has been optimized for gaming mode and the S10+ also comes with an enhanced vapour chamber cooling system. Galaxy S10 is also the first mobile device to be optimized for games created on the Unity platform.

Galaxy S10 gives you the capability to access first-ever Wi-Fi 6, to provide four times faster access even in crowded areas. S10 is the first-ever mobile device compatible with Wi-Fi 6: a next-generation network seamlessly switches to LTE for incredible downloading and browsing speed of up to 2.0Gbps. The newly launched devices come with Wireless PowerShare, making it possible to easily charge Qi-certified smartphone devices and even compatible wearable devices. By just placing a compatible watch, earbuds, or even a friend’s smartphone on the back of Galaxy S10, Wireless PowerShare will start charging your device.

Galaxy Buds are the ultimate cord-free earbuds for those who want a seamlessly connected experience on the go. With their truly comfortable form factor, easy controls, clear and smart sound, and compact size—they are an everyday in-ear lifestyle companion.

Galaxy Buds offer a supreme listening experience, with sound by AKG. Enhanced Ambient Sound allows you to hear your surroundings clearly even while the buds are in your ears, so you can remain aware of your environment at the same time as you take a phone call or listen to your favourite tunes.

Galaxy Buds keep up with you all day, with up to six hours of Bluetooth streaming, and up to five hours of calls. Plus, their compact case holds a charge for up to seven hours and gives the Galaxy Buds 1.7 hours on a 15-minute quick charge. With wireless charging and device-to-device power-sharing, you can also get a quick charging boost on the go from Galaxy S10, which is the latest Samsung smartphone.
