Motorola Moto G4 to receive Android 7.0 Nougat in late Jan

Motorola kicked off the roll-out of Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in Asia and South America back in December. No reports regarding when the update will be available in other markets had been shared at that time. However, according to Motorola Germany, the Moto G4 is expected to receive this update in late January.

The company has managed to provide the latest Android update quite sooner than most major companies including Samsung, LG, Huawei and HTC. Two other flagship smartphones – Moto Z and Moto Z Force have already received the upgraded.

Alongside the standard new features and improvements that the Android 7.0 Nougat update consists of, Motorola is also expected to include some of its own updates with the new release.
