Lenovo Z5 with display notch, Snapdragon 636 SoC, dual camera setup launched
Lenovo has launched its latest premium smartphone called Z5, alongside the Lenovo A5 and Lenovo K5 Note in China. The smartphone sports a notched display on top.
The Z5 flaunts a 6.2-inch full-HD+ IPS display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone has a 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset aided by a 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB onboard storage, expandable up to 256GB. The Z5 runs on ZUI 3.9 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo Z5 features a vertically stacked 16MP+8MP dual rear camera setup. The setup comes with 4K support, AI capabilities, HDR+, f/2.0 aperture, and an LED flash. The handset sports an 8MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and full HD video recording. The handset is kept alive by a 3300mAh battery which 15W fast charge support. On the connectivity front, the Z5 include Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C.
The Lenovo Z5 carries a price tag of CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs 14,700) for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant and CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 18,900) for the 6GB/128GB configuration.
