Nokia 3310, 3, 5 and 6 devices to launch globally in April
HMD Global-backed Nokia showcased it’s Nokia 3310 feature phone along with three other Android-powered Nokia smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February this year. The company – at that time – said that these products will be available for sale globally in Q2, 2017. Now a new report online suggests that Nokia is prepared for its global launch of these devices this month.
According to Neowin, Nokia is set to launch its Nokia 3310 followed by Nokia 3, 5 and 6 smartphones globally in April. The company will begin sale starting with Malaysia with other markets consequently following.
As far as the specifications of the devices are concerned, the Nokia 3310 runs Series 30+, features a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2MP primary camera and supports microSD cards. The device also comes equipped with an upgraded version of the classic ‘Snake’ game.
The Nokia 6 smartphone, on the other hand, packs a 5.5-inch full-HD resolution display with 2.5D curved glass coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of ROM, 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front camera. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and flaunts dual-speakers powered by Dolby Atmos.
The Nokia 5 smartphone features a 5.2-inch display with 6000-series aluminium build, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Nokia 3 smartphone sports a 5-inch display, quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset, an 8MP rear and front cameras.
