Meizu launches Pro 6S with deca-core SoC and 4GB RAM

The design of the smartphone resembles the latest iPhones and the OnePlus 3.

Meizu has announced the launch of its new smartphone dubbed as the Pro 6S at an event in China. The design of the smartphone resembles the iPhones and OnePlus 3. It is priced at CNY 2,699 (approx Rs 27,000).

The smartphone comes with metal unibody design with curved edges. It sports 5.2-inch full HD display that has 3D touch capabilities like the latest iPhone. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio X25 SoC paired with Mali T880 MP4 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It has 64GB of internal storage, but doesn’t offer memory card slot for expansion.

The device comes equipped with a 12MP rear camera with 4-axis optical image stabilisation and a 10-LED dual tone flash ring. It also features a 5MP front facing snapper and also supports phase detection and laser autofocus. The Pro S6 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Flyme OS on top and draws power from 3060mAh battery.

The Meizu Pro S6 is currently available for the Chinese market, and the company is yet to announce its availability for the Indian market.
