Apple's iOS 11.0.2 update fixes voice crackling issue

The latest bug fix update to iOS 11 also fixes various minor issues for improving overall stability.

Apple is on its toes to iron out all the noticeable bugs that the latest iOS 11 holds. The company already rolled out an update last week that claimed to various stability issues to iOS 11. However, several users were complaining of a crackling noise while doing a voice call on their iPhones or iPads. To address that, Apple has rolled out another patch this week.

The iOS 11.0.2 claims to fix the crackling sounds that users were experiencing while making calls on their iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models. The update also fixes an issue for other iPhone and iPad users that were hiding some photos automatically. Also, the update fixes an issue where attachments in S/MIME-encrypted emails failed open properly.

The update weighs 287MB and is available for all iOS 11 compatible devices including iPhone 5S and later, sixth-gen iPod Touch, and all supported iPads. To get the latest patch, you will need to go to Software update in your iPhone’s settings and tap on the download button.

To recall, iOS 11 brings a host of new features such as revamped UI, revamped App Store, native support for AR apps and games, improved Siri and several under the hood tweaks. Apple released iOS 11for the public on 19th September and is available on most Apple devices.
