Microsoft introduces a Microsoft Surface clone
Lenovo is one of the first companies that forayed in the 2-in-1 segment following the release of the original Microsoft Surface in 2012. And now the company is ready to unveil its Miix 520, a Surface rival with a detachable keyboard, a built-in kickstand, and a dedicated pen.
The new Miix 520 packs-in the 8th generation Intel Core processors ranging from i3 to i7 with 16GB LPDDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage.
The device sports a 12.2-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution which is optimised for the Lenovo active pen bundled with the device. The Lenovo Miix 520 comes with LTE support, a feature missing from the Microsoft Surface. The Miix 520 also comes with the watchband hinge that was previously available on Yoga convertible laptops and has support for a microphone that enables voice commands with Cortana.
The device will go on sale starting October at a price of $999.99 and will be available in light and dark Grey colour options.
