Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 appears in leaks: features, specs, launch date and price
Major details about Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone, the Redmi Note 5, have been leaked online, revealing the phone to be powered by Snapdragon Qualcomm’s 630 processor and yet-unreleased MIUI9 OS, reported Android Headlines.
Based on the leaked imaged posted by the Android Headlines, Redmi Note 5 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) display, similar to Redmi 4 model, likely to be powered by Snapdragon 626/630 processor, coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM with a storage option of 32GB/64GB, respectively.
In terms of camera, the phone will feature a 16MP rear sensor and a 13MP front sensor. The phone is expected to be packed with 3790mAh with Quick Charge 4.0 technology and operate on Android Nougat 7.1.1 operating system with Xiaomi’s own MIUI 9 OS atop.
According to the Android Headlines report, Xiaomi is likely to embed the fingerprint scanner into the home button itself. The report also claims that Xiaomi will release the device later this month at a starting price of $200 (approx. Rs 12,969).
Xiaomi is yet to officially confirm the next launch from their end.
