Honor soon to launch dual camera 6X in India

The device will ship in two variants for the Indian market - 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage.

Huawei’s brand Honor will be launching its 6X smartphone for the Indian consumers in January end. The smartphone was launched in three variants in China back in October.

The device will ship in two variants for the Indian market - 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage. The devices will be selling at a price of CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 9,900) and CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 15,800) respectively.

As for the specifications, the device offers a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution and 2.5D curved glass protection. It is powered by a Kirin 655 octa-core (4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz) SoC, and packs in a hybrid dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) card slot, with support for microSD cards (up to 128GB) in the second SIM card slot.

The highlight of the smartphone is the dual camera setup featuring a 12MP sensor with PDAF support with an additional 2MP sensor. The device is also equipped with an 8MP front facing camera. The device also has a fingerprint sensor housed on the rear panel of the device.

On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS/ A-GPS. It is fuelled by a 3340mAh battery with support for fast charging.
