Nokia is rumoured to be working on budget friendly handsets.
Telecoms network maker Nokia said on Wednesday it had acquired Eta Devices.
A new Nokia smartphone Nokia D1C, which will run on Android 7.0 Nougat, has been spotted on Geekbench, a benchmark website.
The information listed on the website revealed the smartphone to come with 3GB of RAM, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. In the listing, the device has scored 656 on single-core performance and 3120 on multi-core performance.
Nokia is rumoured to be working on budget friendly handsets which may feature 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch QHD display and a 22.6 MP camera.
According to media reports, the Finland-based technology company is planning to make a come back in the smartphone market with launch of at least three or four Android running devices this year.
