iPhone X Plus revealed in leaked schematics

These are the first images seen of what is said to be the 6.5-inch iPhone.

With the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) just around the corner, there is a lot of talk surrounding the iPhone SE 2, a cheaper smartphone intended for markets such as China and India. However, a new leak has surfaced regarding what is supposed to be Apple’s next-generation flagship device, the iPhone X Plus.

A new leak from a Russian-language website, Wylsa, reveals schematics that are believed to be the trio of Apple’s 2018 flagship devices that come with the notch for Face ID. The website shows the next generation 5.8-inch iPhone that looks similar to the 2017 iPhone X and a 6.5-inch iPhone that is currently being referred to as the iPhone X Plus.

Another handset is also shown that is the 6.1-inch iPhone. This model is expected to be priced at a lower rate than the other two as it is believed to have an LCD display and not a clearer, crisper OLED one that will be available on the other two models. The images portrayed by the website details that the 6.1-inch iPhone will come with a single rear camera and not a dual lens system like the other two versions.

The designs of the 2018 5.8-inch iPhone and the larger 6.5-inch iPhone are similar to what was found in the 2017 iPhone X.

Even though a lot of leaks happen months prior to the official announcement of the iPhones, one should take these rumours with a pinch of salt as Apple could change things right up to the very end.

As of now, with WWDC just around the bend, we will know more about what software Apple will showcase. We don’t expect there to be any hardware announcements, but Apple could still surprise us all with the Óne more thing…’announcement.
