The smartphone has started receiving the latest Android Nougat update.
The Honor 6X smartphone was first unveiled in January this year.
Huawei has officially began deploying the Android 7.0 Nougat update and Emotion UI 5.0 for its Honor 6X smartphones. The smartphone — which was launched earlier this year — initially included EMUI 4.1 and Android 6 out-of-the-box. However, thanks to the company’s latest decision, the device can be successfully upgraded.
Huawei launched another smartphone — the P10 with EMUI 5.0 and Android Nougat 7.0 as well.
The new upgrade brings an enhanced user-experience to its users including an app drawer option and multiple account profile option.
The company said that all the Honor 6X smartphones will receive the update by the end of this month.
