Samsung begins Galaxy S8 production: report
Samsung has reportedly begun mass production of Galaxy S8 at its production facility in Vietnam with over 10 million units set for initial production volume.
According to the report by a Korean website, Samsung will be producing 4.7 million units of Galaxy S8 smartphone in March and 7.8 million in April.
Samsung will be releasing two models of its next flagship—Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. At a press conference held in Barcelona this week, the firm confirmed to unveil Galaxy S8 on March 29, which is speculated to be held in New York.
Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus could carry a price tag of $950 (approx. Rs 64,000) and $1050 (approx. Rs 70,000) respectively.
The two smartphones are rumoured to be launched in three colour variants, including Black, Gold, and Orchid Gray.
