Xolo has sent out media invites for a smartphone launch held on January 5. The smartphone will be unveiled at an event in New Delhi.
The new smartphone will be the successor to the Era 1X, which was launched in September last year. Just like is predecessor, the Era 2X will be a Flipkart exclusive device.
Talking of specifications, the Era 1X came with a 5-inch HD display and powered with a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. It is equipped with an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie camera with dual-LED flash. It is fuelled with a 2500mAh battery.
Xolo previous offering was the Era 2 smartphone that featured a 5-inch HD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. The Xolo Era 2 packs a 2350mAh battery. The smartphone was priced at Rs 4,499.
