OnePlus seems to gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone — the OnePlus 6 in the first quarter next year. There were rumours about the company launching the OnePlus 5T, but the latest reports suggest that it would no longer be following that product strategy and will jump directly to OnePlus 6.
IF the rumours are to be believed, the OnePlus 6 will feature a QHD screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. It’s still unclear whether the company will opt for a bezel-less screen ditching the 16:9 aspect ratio for an 18:9 image format. The bezel-less design might also push the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor and will have 6GB/8GB of RAM options. The device is expected to feature 64GB/128GB of internal storage and is expected to feature a microSD card slot. The launch of OnePlus 6 might also result in the discontinuation of the OnePlus 5.
