Lenovo launches K6 series of smartphones at IFA 2016

The devices will be available starting September, but the company is yet to announce the pricing of the phones.

Lenovo has expanded its portfolio with the launch of its K6 series of smartphones. The new line-up includes the K6, K6 Power and the K6 Note. The devices will be available starting September, but the company is yet to announce the pricing of the phones.

The new smartphones will come in Gold, Silver and Dark Grey colour variants and will feature a metal body design. All the three smartphones are powered by the same 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with Adreno 505 GPU for graphics.

The Lenovo K6 packs in a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It features 2GB RAM and comes in 16GB and 32GB storage options with support for microSD card. It is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front facing shooter. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.

Talking of the K6 Power, the smartphone will be available in 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB variants. Other features on the device are identical to the K6 smartphone.

The Lenovo K6 Note features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also has a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

It features a 16MP front facing camera with LED flash, while there is an 8MP front facing shooter also on-board. The smartphone is fuelled by a huge 4000mAh battery.
