Samsung’s next phone in the A series, the Galaxy A90, will be launched in a 4G as well as a 5G version. The 5G version was spotted on Geekbench last month with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 6GB of RAM and support for 5G connectivity.

Now a new device was spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website under the code SM-A908B, suggesting a nearby launch for the Galaxy A90.

The certification tells us that the Galaxy A90 will run on Android 9.0 Pie and will have support for dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. Earlier rumours had pointed to the device having a triple rear camera setup an da ‘Tilt OIS’ feature. The new phones will however ditch the mechanical Galaxy A80 like flip-up camera for some form of notched setup.

The Samsung Galaxy A90’s 4G version on the other hand will be named SM-A905 and will also have a triple camera setup but with a different set of lenses.

Speculations suggest that both versions will have 6.7-inch notched displays with Super AMOLED display panels sporting FHD+ resolution.
