Video | Moto Z bend and torture test

MotoZ underwent a durability test with YouTube user, JerryRigEverything.

MotoZ was unveiled by Motorola during Tech World 2016 back in June. Since then, the device’s powerful features have been the talk of the town. Recently, YouTube user, JerryRigEverything tested the phone’s metal build and glass display against scratches and bending. Here is what happened.

The first test was the scratch test. Moto Z’s Gorilla Glass 4 is what managed to keep the screen safe and scratches were only visible in the level 6/9. After undergoing heavy scratching, the fingerprint scanner still managed to function about 75 per cent of the times. The Moto Z even passed the bend and flame test. The display held up for approximately 50 seconds before reacting to the heat.

There are no major issues reported with this device. It seems like we have something to look forward to, other than Samsung and Apple.
