LeEco recently acquired 11 per cent stake of the telecommunication equipment vendor Coolpad, making it the biggest share holder of the company. Both companies have joined forces to unveil their first smartphone dubbed as the Cool 1.
Coolpad took to Weibo to tease the upcoming smartphone. The teaser confirmed the existence of the Cool 1 smartphone, which will feature a dual camera setup.
The device was caught in the rumor mill few days back. The rumors indicated that the smartphone will feature a 5.5 inch QHD display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB RAM.
The Cool 1 is also expected to feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, while a 3500mAh battery will fire up the device. According to few rumors, the device will run on both LeEco’s EUI and Coolpad’s CoolUI wrapped under Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The device is rumored to be unveiled on August 10, but the companies are yet to make any announcement on the launch of the smartphone.
