Nokia to release Android P update from August
Nokia is expected to bestow the Android P update to its smartphones which will happen by August this year. The update will be the stable version which will lend several new features to the users.
The report was received by The Indian Express in the form of a screenshot which was sent by a follower of Nokia Power User. The person received an email from Nokia officially which stated that the update will be provided to all smartphones 'sometime in August.'
The report could be believed as just recently a lineup of smartphones in China including Nokia 6, Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 Sirocco have received the Android P beta update. Nokia smartphones are powered by Android One and these phones receive periodic software updates for two years.
The HMD manufacturer provides stock Android in all its Nokia smartphones which offer a better interface and higher performance as compared to those which come with custom Android. The upcoming software should offer more features and better user experience.
