Xiaomi seems all set to start pre-orders for the Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A through its online store Mi.com starting at 12pm IST on June 2. The Chinese technology giant will be offering a five-day shipping guarantee.
The pre-orders will not come with cash on delivery option, but allows users to make online payments while placing their orders. Users can also cancel their pre-order any time before the device has been shipped. One user can only pre-order one device from one account.
Redmi Note 4 will be up for grabs on Flipkart shortly with the base model priced at Rs 9,999. Flipkart will also offer EMI options starting at Rs 631 per month. Axis Bank Buzz Credit card holders will be eligible for an additional 5 percent discount on the e-commerce portal.
The smartphone can be purchased via company’s official website, Mi.com at a starting price of Rs 9,999 on pre-orders. As per the specifications, the smartphone packs a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and draws power from a 4100mAh battery. It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera, while there is a 5MP front facing camera.
The Redmi 4A on the other hand, will be up for pre-orders on the Mi.com starting 12pm on June 2 at a price of Rs 5,999. It sports a 5-inch HD display and runs MIUI 8 wrapped under Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity. It boasts similar camera modules as the Redmi Note 4. The smartphone draws power from a 3120mAh battery.
