LG G7/G7+ ThinQ flagship phones unveiled
LG Electronics (LG) has introduced its latest premium smartphones – the LG G7/G7+ ThinQ, focusing on bringing useful and convenient AI features. While both the phones seem to be identical, the only difference between the two flagship phones is in terms of storage departments.
The LG G7 features a 6.1-inch QHD+ 'notch' display, which LG calls it as FullVision Super Bright Display that comes with a resolution of 3120x1440 and a 564ppi pixel density. The G7 ThinQ is built on a latest Snapdragon 845 chipset followed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. And, the G7+ is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both the devices support microSD expansion up to 2TB.
In terms of camera, the smartphone features dual camera setup, with a 16MP standard angle f/1.9 sensor and another 16MP wide-angle f/1.6 sensor. On the front, the devices boast an 8MP wide-angle f/1.9 sensor.
Weighing around 162g, the LG G7 ThinQ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery, which further can be charged with equipped USB Type-C port. For security, there’s a fingerprint sensor mounted at the rear and face recognition. The flagship also features a dedicated hardware button to launch Google Assistant.
On the connectivity front, it supports Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac. Both these latest LG G7/G7+ ThinQ flagships feature in Platinum Gray, Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, Raspberry Rose colour variants.
