Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) launched
Samsung has launched Galaxy On8 (2018), which is the successor to the original Galaxy On8, launched back in 2016. The smartphone features artificial intelligence (AI) for enhanced photography.
The smartphone sports a 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. At its core, the device runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UX on top. The device is backed by a 3500mAh battery.
There a dual rear camera system, consisting of a 16MP sensor with a f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP sensor with a f/1.9 aperture, accompanied by a LED flash. Samsung has also added its Background Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly, Portrait Backdrop and other features. Upfront, there is a 16MP sensor along with a f/1.9 aperture. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) carries a price tag of Rs 16,990 and will be available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart and the company's online store starting August 6.
