Tech giant Samsung is rumored to unveil a slim smartphone called “Galaxy S25 Slim” this year, just like Apple. Ahead of the launch, renders of the upcoming smartphone have been published by OnLeaks and Smartprix.
The renders depict a flat design, with the front, back, and sides all being flat. They also show a triple camera setup at the back. The Galaxy S25 Slim is said to be 6.4mm thick, making it 1.2mm thinner than the Galaxy S24 and 1.8mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is expected to be 8.2mm thick, as claimed by OnLeaks and Smartprix.

The Galaxy S25 Slim, according to OnLeaks and Smartprix, will boast a 200MP HP5 main camera, a 50MP JN5 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with a 3.5x optical zoom.
The Galaxy S25 Slim, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, will boast 12GB of RAM and run on Android 15 with One UI 7.
It is anticipated to be launched in May 2025 and might be unveiled at the Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Apple is also planning to introduce a slimmer iPhone, named the “iPhone 17 Air,” alongside the iPhone 17 series lineup in September this year. Rumors suggest that the iPhone 17 Air will boast a 6.6-inch display, an A19 Chip, Face ID, a Dynamic Island, a 48MP rear camera, a 24MP front camera, 8GB RAM for Apple Intelligence, a non-physical SIM card tray, a single camera, and Apple’s 5G modem.
