Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone SE 4 or the iPhone 16e this April, and new images shared by leaker Sonny Dickson provide the first glimpse of the upcoming device.
Sonny Dickson shares dummy models of new iPhones which have proven remarkably accurate when the models are officially released. He posted images of the iPhone SE 4 dummy on X, offering valuable insights into the upcoming iPhone.
As observed in the images, the iPhone SE 4 will be available in two colors: White and Black. The iPhone SE 3 also comes in similar shades, but it offers an additional option: (PRODUCT) RED, which Apple may discontinue with the iPhone SE 4.
The camera bump on the iPhone SE 4 is larger compared to the iPhone SE 3. According to a report by 9To5Mac, the iPhone SE 4 will feature only one camera, and the larger bump is attributed to Apple’s decision to equip the upcoming iPhone SE with the same main camera found in the iPhone 15.
The images also suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will adopt a design similar to the iPhone 14. From the sides, the iPhone SE 4 will sport an aluminum frame.
The expected features of iPhone SE 4/iPhone 16e
Display: iPhone SE 4/iPhone 16e may feature 6.1-inch display unlike the 4.7-inch display which the third generation iPhone SE had.
Camera: iPhone SE 4/iPhone 16e will have only one camera. iPhone SE 4 may have a 48MP mains lens used in iPhone 15. The iPhone SE 3 has a 12MP camera.
OLED Display: The earlier iPhone SE had an LCD display but the new iPhone SE 4/iPhone 16e may have an OLED display.
Battery: The ‌iPhone SE‌ 4 may use the same battery capacity used in the iPhone 14, which is 3279 mAh.
Chipset: The iPhone SE 4/iPhone 16e is rumoured to feature the A18 chipset.
RAM: iPhone SE 4/iPhone 16e will have 8GB of RAM, enhancing support for Apple’s AI technology.
Charging Port: iPhone SE 4 may have the USB-C port like the new flagship models.
