iPhone 17 Pro Models Rumored to Feature Dual Video Recording Feature

Dual Video recording allows users to record video using both the front and rear cameras simultaneously

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are rumored to get an exclusive software feature in the Camera app.

According to the YouTube channel Front Tech Page, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will feature dual video recording, which allows users to record video using both the front and rear cameras simultaneously.

The dual video recording feature will be especially useful for content creators. While this capability is already available through apps like Snapchat, it will now be integrated directly into the native Camera app.

Apple has previously supported this functionality through third-party apps, but it was not available in the built-in Camera app. The tech giant now plans to introduce it officially this year.

As seen in the YouTube video posted by Front Tech Page, the feature will resemble a FaceTime call layout, with most of the screen dedicated to the rear camera and a smaller window for the front camera.

The entire camera system of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max is also rumored to include 48MP lenses. Additionally, the Pro models are expected to feature a 24MP front-facing camera.

Apple is anticipated to launch the iPhone 17 series this September.
