Mohan Babu University Hosts MBUAHSCON 2024 Conference on Technological Advancements in Allied Healthcare

TIRUPATI: Mohan Babu University's Department of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences recently concluded a highly successful two-day conference, MBUAHSCON 2024, focused on "Technological Advancements in Allied Healthcare Science." The event, held at the university campus in Tirupati, brought together industry leaders, researchers, practitioners, and educators to explore the transformative potential of technology in allied healthcare practices.

The conference featured enriching discussions, insightful paper presentations, workshops, and thought-provoking panel sessions. Topics covered included advancements in diagnostics, telemedicine, wearable healthcare devices, robotics in rehabilitation therapy, and augmented reality in medical training. These sessions delved into how these innovations are revolutionizing allied healthcare practices and the challenges of their implementation.

A notable highlight was the engaging panel discussion titled " Enhancing Prognosis through AI in Medical Technology," featuring esteemed panellists such as Prof. Dr. K. Madhavi, Professor and Principal, College of Physiotherapy, SVIMS & Chairperson for AP State Allied and Healthcare Council, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Selvakumar Kandaswamy, Medical Biochemist, Kauvery Hospital & Billroth Hospital, Chennai, Founder & General Secretary, Indian Association of Basic and Paramedical Sciences & Dr. Santhosh Babu K.B, Fellowship in Neuro and Vascular Interventional Radiology, Interventional Radiologist and Associate Professor, Department of Interventional Radiology, Christian Medical College, Vellore.
