Google Contacts update brings more power to users
Google Contacts acts as your online address book, helping you keep your contacts organized and in-sync with integrated features such as Gmail, Calender, Drive and other Google products. Editing contact information, saving them to your Google account and fixing duplicate contacts with automatic link suggestions, are a few perks that users enjoy with Google Contacts. However, the latest update brings even greater power to users.
Firstly, the Google Contacts app’s dual tabs – Favorites and All has been replaced with numerous other options including a hamburger menu. You can view contacts, their duplicates as well as filter the list by labels and accounts.
Moreover, the new Duplicate screen now directly gives you the option to either dismiss or merge the duplicate contacts by staying on the same page. As opposed to how one had to manually find and merge contacts before, this makes things much easier.
The APK version of Google Contacts, which is signed by Google, is now available on the Play Store.
