There's a sequel to Reliance Jio's Prime offer?

A new report suggests that Reliance Jio is likely to come up with another Prime offer.

Reliance Jio’s enticing ‘Happy New Year’ offer ends today. After today, Jio users will have to start paying for the once free services, just like any other normal SIM-card user. After enjoying at least six months of non-stop free data and calls, the deadline may come across as quite a bummer. However, it appears like Reliance Jio might be planning a sequel to its Prime offer.

According to the latest report published by Business Insider, Reliance Jio may soon announce a new set of tariff plans to maintain its 100-million subscriber mark.

Since the time Reliance Jio has entered the telecom market, the latter has been through several changes. Not only as the telecom space witnessed a growing dominance of 4G technology but major rivals such as Airtel, BSNL and MTNL have been battling it out to survive till the end through the means of their varied offers.

Reliance Jio, in an effort to maintain its 100-million subscriber mark, is reportedly looking towards bringing a tariff plan in the market that keeps the Jio customers glued with the company.

At the moment, the company will be studying consumer behaviour on three aspects namely: how many have opted for tariff plans, how many subscribers are looking to port out and how many subscribers have no intention of using Jio services. These three factors will help the company decide on a new set of tariff plans.

The new plans are expected to be announced within the next couple of days.
