Lucideus, an IT Risk Assessment and Digital Security Services provider, incubated from IIT Bombay in 2012 announced that they have been awarded the Best Startup of India award under the IT (Information Technology) and ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) category at the National Entrepreneurship Award 2016 organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship at the DRDO auditorium in New Delhi. The award ceremony was presided over by the Honourable Home Minister of India, Sri Rajnath Singh along with the Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Sri Rajiv Pratap Rudy. It was attended by other Cabinet Ministers, prominent entrepreneurs, senior government officials, industry mentors, incubators and academia from across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Saket Modi, Co-founder & CEO, Lucideus said, “At a time when our Honourable Prime Minister says that the Indian startups are going to be the key defining factor for the Indian Economy in the near future, and India being hailed as the IT Super Power of the world, it is of tremendous pride for us to be recognised as the Best IT Startup of India from the Government of India.
He further added, "Considering that whole nation is transforming itself into a Digital Economy, for us to be named as the front runner in the tech space comes with a great responsibility.
