Facebook may adopt a new feature that is quite similar to Snapchat's existing feature.

Facebook is reportedly testing a new feature for its main app that includes the option of applying special effects on videos.
According to a report published by Recode, the feature is currently being tested in Ireland. Users will also be provided with a separate inbox inside the main app that stores pictures and videos.
A similar feature already exists with Snapchat wherein users are given the option of applying special effects such as beards and masks to their videos and pictures.
