Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Communications has launched a new 4G app-to-app calling offer for Delhi-NCR regions where users can buy 300 minutes of free data calling at Re 1.
The new ‘Call Drops Se Chutkaara’ offer has been introduced as a measure to combat the escalating call drop issue in the region.
Reliance Communication CEO Gurdeep Singh said that the offer will be valid for a month at just Rs 1.
Considering the offer is just 300 minutes, users will be allotted 10 minutes of app-to-app calling per day or 7MB data regularly. This data can also be used for browsing but definitely won’t be sufficient if you are an active user.
The offer has been launched on an experimental basis and banks upon the popularity of instant messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Viber, Skype and other similar apps.
