Kozhikode boy in Google Hall of Fame

He entered the Hall of Fame after finding some glitches in Google sub-domain.

KOZHIKODE: Twenty-year-old Hariprasad T, from Nalloor, near Feroke, here entered the Google Hall of Fame after he found fault with the sub-domain of Google. A third year computer engineering diploma student at Government Polytechnic College, West Hill, Kozhikode, Mr Hariprasad was featured on the 49th page of 89- page of Hall of Fame list.

Google usually honours people for finding mistakes in its main domain and devices. This is called Google Vulnerability reward programme. Describing himself as self-taught, Mr Hariprasad said that he spends the time on inernet after the college hours to learn more about the technical aspects.

Along with his studies, he works part time to support his family and fund his studies. He claimed that his interest in technology pushes him to learn it by himself. The youngster said that he has received the email communication from Google about the his entry into Hall of Fame on Thursday. The reward would be announced in two weeks.
