A few days ago, Samsung had sent out press invites in the US with an image of a device having lesser bezels and a stylus, all of which is enough to suggest that the Korean tech giant is getting ready to launch the Galaxy Note 8. Now, in a report from Phonescoop, the alleged Note 8 device has already achieved certifications from FCC in the United States.

The device is supposed to be a high-end smartphone carrying the code name of SM-N950, which is in line with the code names of the previous Galaxy Note devices. The phone is reported to gain certifications for all major carrier bands in the USA. The Note 8 is supposed to be the second flagship smartphone from Samsung after this year's Galaxy S8 launched earlier in the year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to carry forward Samsung’s new-found love for bezel-less design with a bigger Infinity display. It is supposed to sport a Snapdragon 835 or Samsung’s latest Exynos 9 series chipset and come with 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. It is also expected to borrow the camera sensor, fingerprint sensor and iris scanner from the Galaxy S8. Reports have also claimed that Note 8 will have a Bixby button and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
