Haier introduces its new Bottom Mounted Refrigerator (BMR) in India

Refrigerator reduces bending by up to 90 per cent and saves energy by up to 50 per cent.

Global leader in Home Appliances & Consumer Electronics, Haier has announced the launch of its new BMR-Bottom Mounted Refrigeration. The launch aims to further augment the Haier’s line of BMR refrigerators in the country.

The BMR model is designed with features such as direct tool inverter technology which essentially helps save up to 30 per cent of electricity. With an expanded storage room for non-frozen products, the 450 ltr model accommodates the needs of modern houses, especially catering to large families.

Further, the refrigerator is armed with functionalities such as 1 touch LED Control, Convertible My Zone which helps in changing the temperature of a specific section of the refrigerator from -3 to +5 degrees Celsius depending upon the food type, Fuzzy logic makes the refrigerator sense the outside temperature and accordingly sets the inside temperature.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Eric Braganza, President, Haier Appliances (India) said, 'Haier has constantly focused around making products that suit the necessities of progressive contemporary families. The new 450 liter BMR is aimed at making the lives of the consumers all the more easy with added capacity and great features. It also reaffirms our previous campaign, 'Jhukna Mat' that disposes of the requirement for the Indian customer to bend to get to the less commonly utilized things in a refrigerator.'

The new Haier refrigerator is available in India at Rs 60,000.
