Apple turned off the FaceTime group chat feature as its engineers worked to fix the issue. The company said it has fixed the bug on its servers and will turn on the feature for users again next week.
Google is globally rolling out audio-only call feature to its Duo video calls service to help user communicate using poor-quality connections.
The feature was first launched in Brazil and now it is being rolled out to all app consumers worldwide.
Head of Google Allo and Duo, Amit Fullay confirmed the global launch on his twitter handle.
