This Motorola smartphone won't be receiving Android 7.0 Nougat

Motorola Moto E3 Power will not receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

Android users have been anticipating the arrival of Android 7.0 Nougat update ever since it was announced. While major smartphone makers struggle to provide access to its users — Motorola has been among the first to ensure that the update is made available.

Recently, the company updated their support webpages with details regarding the devices that can be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. However, there were no signs of the Moto E3 smartphone on the list. In other words, the Moto E3 Power may not be receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat.

Well, that’s unfortunate and quite surprising too as the smartphone was launched only back in September last year. The Moto E3 Power is an entry-level smartphone that currently runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device packs decent specifications such as MediaTek MT6735P chipset, a 64-bit Quad Core 1.0GHz SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
