Edit, recall unread WhatsApp texts

With the recall' feature a user can have a sent message returned to him unread, as long as the message hasn't been opened.

Los Angeles: WhatsApp is reportedly working on new features which could be officially rolled out soon. Live location sharing in group chats is one of the new features. Users will also be able to ‘recall’ or ‘edit’ unread messages.

According to a report in bgr.in, WhatsApp users can now enable live location for group chats which can be viewed by members of the group. This update is currently available on Android and iOS on beta versions 2.16.399 and 2.17.3.28, respectively. This feature allows WhatsApp users to track the whereabouts of the group members in real time. The tracking can be kept on for one, two, five minutes, or indefinitely, according to phonearena.com. The live streaming can also be disabled so that your group members can't learn where you are at any given moment. The feature is disabled by default and would need to be activated by going to the group Settings option.

With the ‘recall’ feature a user can have a sent message returned to him unread, as long as he makes the request for the message’s return before it is opened. Another feature ‘edit’ will allow the user to make some changes to a sent post as long as it is unread.
