TSBIE launches digital study kit for students

DiSK is a one stop solution for intermediate students.

Hyderabad: With the aim to provide world class education to TS students, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has launched a Digital Study Kit (DiSK) for the benefit of Intermediate students in the state in collaboration with Cloudedz. DiSK is available on the web and as an app. It is an interactive study tool for students and works without internet with a onetime download.

DiSK is a one stop solution for intermediate students. The app is being offered free of cost to government college students, and at a nominal fee of '325 per year for other students. It has text books, study materials, video lessons, assessments and multiple-choice questions that will help students prepare for regular and competitive examinations.

Kadiyam Srihari, deputy chief minister and education minister, said, “Digital education is a priority for the government. This initiative will help students access quality learning. DiSK will also cut down costs associated with buying books for competitive exam preparation.’’

Ranjeev R. Acharya, IAS, principal secretary, higher education, TS, said, “DiSK is a part of our larger vision for a digital Telangana, we are one of the first states to offer digital education to students.”
