UK to ban drone flying by underage users

The United Kingdom has proposed a legislation that would put a ban on drone flying by underage users.

The legislation includes age restriction where users under 18 years of age will be banned from flying drones weighing over 0.55 pounds, TechCrunch reported. However, kids can still fly a drone provided there is adult supervision.

The UK has also imposed other rules for drone flying including restricting height of consumer drone flights to 400 feet and ban near airports.

However, if a lad under the age of 18 wishes to fly a drone, he/she can do so under the supervision of an adult.

Drone flying have been a growing trend now-a-days as people use it for capturing videos and images from high above the ground levels. But this has proved dangerous several times in the past as a person operating it immaturely, without having the skills, hurts other people with the flying device.
