OnePlus 3 new software update brings myriad improvements
Mumbai: After releasing the OnePlus 3 in June, the company released two Oxygen OS updates to fix the controversial RAM issue, colour adjustment and other minor fix. Now the company is releasing another OS update to help fix other trivial issues along with additional improvements.
The Oxygen 3.2.2 update introduces enhanced notification management in doze; the alert slider, and silent mode issue in the previous release has also been rectified. Another nifty feature is the option to disable fingerprint sensor, which can be useful when the phone is kept inside a bag or pocket.
Additionally, the update also adds NFC toggle in the quick settings menu and improved noise cancellation during video recording. Among other improvements, the company has updated the 4K video recording codec, added latest security patches, and various other optimisations.
The handset has been doing really well in the market despite some issues in the initial days. The handset is truly a jewel, considering the sheer performance it offers and that too, at such an affordable price.
Recently, a Soft Gold variant of variant of the smartphone was launched in US a couple of days back and other countries including Europe, Hong Kong and Canada, will get it on August 1.
However, OnePlus hasn’t revealed the release date for India; in a forum they said that they will have more information on the exact launch date for India soon.
