We have been trying out a recently launched free app, SHAREit, claimed to be the world's fastest cross-platform file transfer and content sharing tool. You can share all kinds of files — at 200 times the speed of Bluetooth. There is no data usage or Internet needed. The free app supports Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad), Windows Phone, Windows, and Mac. You can send files from PC or laptop to phone or tablet and vice versa. You can also transfer files between phones.
The app supports transfer of photos, videos, music, installed apps and any other files in SD card. You can also control power point files with your phone, making your presentation easier. The app is also useful to replicate contacts, SMS, music, videos, apps and other data from your old phone to the new one in just one click. It also works well for Group Share — create a group and share the same content with friends.
