Facebook may add Slideshow' Movie Maker feature to its Android app

Social media giant Facebook introduced a new ‘Slideshow’ Movie Maker feature on iOS in June this year. Now reports suggest that the company is planning on making the same feature available to Android users as well. This feature allows users to post a slideshow of multiple photos and videos along with music on their timelines.

The Slideshow feature was first available through the company’s Moments app. It was only later that the feature forayed into the company’s iOS app. Users no longer need to scroll through News Feed or wait till Facebook generates a slideshow for them. Instead, they can now choose from the multiple of options like photos, videos, Go Live, Check In and more and create a slideshow of pictures and videos themselves.

Moreover, users can even view their slideshows in HD. The feature is still in testing and will be globally rolled out soon enough.
