New Camscanner update will let users translate image text into 60 languages and more

CamScanner has announced the launch of several new features to give users a better experience on their app.

From now on users will be able to photo of a paper and instantly convert it to a spreadsheet, they can also easily click and scan a book. Upon taking the image, the left and right pages will be split automatically, to provide the experience of an e-book. The bent text will also be corrected for clarity.

A new PPT shooting mode has also been introduced which a will allow extreme clarity while shooting presentations chiseling edges automatically without manual focus. Under another update, users can now scan their certificates and attain the print ready view, creasing out the bent text etc, the company said in a press release.

Yet another feature is a new smart optical character recognition (OCR) feature which shall allow users to search any text from their scanned documents and translate it into more than 60 languages.

These features will be immediately available for VIP Account users, who will also get free 10 GB cloud space for scans. The company has also announced several new additions to the safety and security layers to ensure that users have full control over their documents, all the time.
